This policy explains how VOLTSTEP LLC, doing business as Voltstep Advisory (“Voltstep,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares personal information through www.voltstep.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, email us, or book a call, we collect what you provide, such as:

  • Your name, email address, and organization
  • Details about your inquiry, such as the services you are interested in and your timeline
  • Anything else you choose to include in a message

Please do not send sensitive information through the Site, such as Controlled Unclassified Information, payment card numbers, health information, or government identifiers. If a project involves that kind of information, we will arrange an appropriate way to handle it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our service providers receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you request. We use it to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent spam and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the business and the Site, such as website hosting and security, customer relationship management, email, and scheduling. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or when needed to protect our rights, our clients, or others.

  • With your consent or at your direction.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Site and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for security and spam prevention. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features, such as the contact form, may not work.

Third-party sites

The Site links to services operated by others, such as our call booking page and professional profiles. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we have a legitimate business need for it to provide consultation and other professional services, and longer only when the law requires it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or provide a copy. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
