Legal
Terms
These terms cover use of the website at www.voltstep.com, operated by Nicholas Kanelos through VOLTSTEP LLC, a Texas LLC registered to operate in Maryland. They were last updated in October 2026.
What this site is
The pages describe readiness and GRC engineering. They are general information about how Voltstep works. They are not legal advice, not a formal assessment, and not a promise that a control set, a score, or a contract will be accepted by a customer, a prime, or a government office.
Voltstep is not a C3PAO. We do not perform CMMC assessments, and we do not certify an organization. “CCP/CCA in progress” means those credentials are not held. Nothing on this site is an offer to assess the same organization we help prepare.
Quotes and engagements
Prices are not published. “Contact for a quote” means the price and the dates are in a separate written quote or agreement. Booking a 30-minute intro call on google meet does not create a consulting engagement. Work starts when both sides have signed the agreement that names the deliverable.
Your use of the site
You may read the pages and send an inquiry. Do not submit information you are not allowed to share, including Controlled Unclassified Information, in the contact form or in a booking note. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or the form.
No warranty on the pages
Regulatory dates are marked with the month we last checked them, and they can change. We make no warranty that the site is complete or that it will stay available. Liability for paid work, if any, belongs in the signed agreement, not in these website terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
